chalk messages...

this was a recent DIY project i did.. I transformed a frame that i found clearanced at target for $3.00(!) into a chalk board... check it out:

Here is the frame before.. black with clear glass (i had already taken the glass and matte out..)

I used Rust-oleum's chalk board paint from home depot and some Krylon spray paint in blue ocean breeze that I already had...

I used a foam brush to paint the chalk board paint on the glass...

then spray painted the frame ...

  Here is the finished result. I finished it the weekend of Valentine's Day so my hubby left me a nice little note and beautiful bouquet of flowers! love him!
