Brewskies...

Saturday we headed to Dallas for Michaels 27th birthday bash. We checked into the hotel then trekked over to the Community Brewery for the afternoon! We played bag toss while we were there too... The Hasserd's came to play!

In true Caitie fashion, she brought mini bundt cakes for everyone to enjoy! So cute. 

After that we taxied over to Chicken Scratch for dinner and live music!

Here is a video Marilyn took while Rhett & I were dancing.. he was leading me in from of the fan that was blowing mist! 

It was a fun night had by all! This summer is shaping up to be really fun filled!!

Last night we had our second wine night. Caitie hosted and made chicken cordon bleu. I made bruschetta from fresh tomatoes in my garden and Gram's pink lemonade pie. Marilyn made a yummy southwest salad! I am really glad we have started back up wine night. I enjoy getting to see everyone more frequently!

Rhett gave me a Mandevilla plant for our three year anniversary back in June and it bloomed this week! its really pretty and is loving its location on the front porch!

wine night...

We have started back up wine night again! It's always a good time had by all. It's a good time for everyone to try out new recipes that they have been wanting to try. I made Crab Rangoon, Caitie made shrimp spring rolls and Marilyn made Lasagna Cups! It was all good! I also finally opened a bottle of wine that my Uncle Bill and his wife Debbie made and shared with us! It was a Merlot and was tasty!

Well seeing it has been over two years since I made a post... time for change.

A lot has happened and I have decided to turn this blog into a digital journal of sorts that will be a compilation of photos and tid bits of the life I am living out as well as my family and friends. I think this will be a fun way to look back and see what I did and who I did it with!
